It seems to at random times work, once, every very long time In a while, but for the majority of the time doesn't. I don't know If It's related but this flyout also won't display the cover art of any .flac files either

And yeah, It works fine If It's being played through other means like a browser

Right, same here. I think this is an inadvertence (error, bug? - not sure what is the right term for this) of the new Media Player app. I assume by WMP you meant the old Windows Media Player, existing into previous versions of Windows (yep, I know it is still there, however if the new one has been introduced, would like to use that one). It is working, but with the NowPlaying measures, not with this plugin.
Not sure if there is a workaround.
